RULES ON TOUR

Greetings dear people and how are you? Good, I hope. Then let us begin.

Rules on tour.
Now for you veterans of touring out there need not read this, as you have more than likely forgotten what most will never learn. But for some reason there is no rule book to stipulate the do’s and don’ts of touring that I’m aware of. We all know what not to do on a bus. NO NUMBER TWOS! ONLY NUMBER ONES! That’s an easy one to remember. It’s common sense really, wouldn’t you think? Is there a book? If so, can someone out there please inform me of it? Thank you.

What else is there?
That you be respectful to one another. All of the support bands we have had so far have been great. All very helpful, as our tour manager will always have them load the trailer at the end of the night whilst we go shower and relax. Benefits of being the headline act. Headliners are always first in line at meal time, shower time and any other time to be honest, when others have to be patient. I guess you have to work your way up the ladder and when you do, it’s a lot easier than being at the bottom.
Apart from all that I have mentioned before, there isn’t a lot more to add, as from my experience it is common sense that you be respectful, helpful and patient.

We have all heard the horror stories of the nightmare bands, who shall remain nameless, who have committed the ultimate sins. Lol. But that’s how it goes, as the you’ll encounter the good, the bad and the very ugly. In which case you have my sympathy, if you happen to encounter the ugly that is!

All that’s left to be said is that you enjoy every moment you can and make some wonderful memories.
