SPOOKY EXPERIENCE

Hello there my friends.

I would like to share an experience with you. Something that happened to me many years ago which you can either believe or not depending on your persuasion.
I was 11 or 12 years old and shared a bedroom of some size with my elder brother and my cousin. There we were at bedtime laughing and joking in the dark, the moon was dripping its light through the window, when all of a sudden the bedroom light came on. Now we all looked at each other in some confusion thinking that one of us must have turned it on. It would have been impossible to have performed such an act and gotten back into bed before the light pounded our eyes. I got out of my bed in the hush and turned it off. We proceeded to talk quietly when the light came back on. This time it was getting beyond a joke and the fear was beginning to consume us. I once again got out of my bed and proceeded to render us back into the night. Not long after had I returned to my horizontal position that the light was then ignited once more. There was most definitely something more than suspicious about this as I once again got out of bed and turned the light off. This spirit was obviously a playful one, because when I awoke the next morning, my bedside lamp was on. I'm sure many of you out there may be able to relate to this experience as you might think it’s not so intimidating, but for an 11-year-old boy, it was terrifying! You can neither prove nor disprove the existence of ghosts or apparitions, you only have your experiences to go by. Why did we not escape our haunted bedroom and flee to a safer part of the house? I guess we believed there was safety in numbers and that we had the Universe to protect us from those things that lurk behind the shadows awaiting to pounce from dimensions beyond our understanding.

During one semi-conscious state I felt myself being held down by some entity, it was a heavy weight on my chest, and not being able to breath I screamed out “Jesus, help me!” and in a moment the sensation was gone. Go figure!
I wish you all the best this Halloween and that you never have to know of what it's like to be truly afraid!

Thanks for listening.
