News | BlackRain Unveils ,,Disagree” – A new single without compromise!

With ,,Disagree” BlackRain delivers a furious second single and second music video of a long Serie leading up to the release of their next album, `Orphans of the Light’, expected on February 27, 2026 via Single Bel.

The band, Swan Hellion (vocals guitar), Matthieu De La Roche (bass), Franky Costanza (drums) and the new guitarist Jerem G, is hitting hard this July with a music video shot in a sweaty and electric atmosphere.

A WILD AND INSTINCTIVE VIDEO SHOOT…

The place? The Alpy Bières, an iconic bar around Annecy. A rocking venue where anything is possible, chosen by bassist Matthieu De La Roche, who also directed the video:

“I am a regular of the bar. It’s a place where people can still have a lot of freedom, and that fit perfectly with the spirit of the song which is a true rebel yell of its time. The venue had never hosted a production of our scale, so we had to adapt. We enlarged the stage, brought a light show, and made a post on social medias to reach out to fans and friends. We didn’t really know what to expect… and in the end, the pub was packed: an entire biker club, two stuntmen, and lots of familiar faces from over the years. We improvised with everyone. I really wanted to keep a very punk feeling for this video.“

A PUNK SPIRIT AND A NEW DEAL WITH RAGE TOUR

It’s no coincidence that this new track sounds so wild: BlackRain has just announced its signing with  promoter Rage Tour, well known for working with a demanding metal and punk scene.
For Swan Hellion, singer and main songwriter, ,,Disagree” sets the tone:

“It’s perhaps my favorite chorus on the album. It’s very efficient with a melody that’s easy to sing along and to remember. It speaks of the growing difficulty of simply expressing one’s opinion. We live in a time where people are entrenched in their positions, where only fake opposition remains. For me, that’s the opposite of the spirit of rock.“
