HARDCORE SUPERSTAR-HCSS

Gain Music Entertainment

One of the most underrated but hardest working rock bands from Sweden must be Hardcore Superstar. With their tenth album `HCSS’ they return to their old label and surprise the listener once again with catchy punky rock songs and a variety that they haven’t shown before. There’s grunge, The Clash and Jane’s Addiction influences, but they are not afraid to explore new grounds with the catchy, danceable duet ,,Touch The Sky’’. If great melodies, cool riffs and catchy songs is what you’re looking for `HCSS’ is the thing for you. ,,Don’t Mean Shit’’ and ,,Party ‘til I’m Gone’’ are straight rockers, while ,,The Cemetary’’ (The Clash meets Alice In Chains), and ,,Growing Old’’ (Jane’s Addiction influence) show an other side of the band. There are simply no fillers on this album and because of it’s many influences it’s interesting from start to finish. With `HCSS’ Hardcore Superstar releases it’s most complete album so far.
