Let me get this straight from the beginning: if you are looking for easy elevator music, stop reading this review. Periphery is war, a mind fuck that needs your full attention and can bring you to a level where you will be mentally exhausted. `III: Select Difficulty’ is the perfect title for the technical skills of this band. This is nothing a newly formed school band is capable to play. This is hard work and practice and this is what Periphery for sure had to go through to record such a punch in your face of music. The eleven tunes are so good, it hurts. And after you went through them all you first need a break. But when you have cached some fresh air, you are ready to go through it again.
