Guitarist and singer Mark Tremonti has huge success with both Creed and Alter Bridge that leads to a fully booked agenda. Still this guy finds time to work in between as a well-respected solo artist. Like with his solo debut `All I Was’ again Tremonti gives extra horsepower with the new cd `Cauterize’. A real treat for us metal heads, since the songs are loaded with heavy, thrash-like guitar riffs in speed tempos. On the other hand the vocal melodies are very melodic, with memorable choruses and beautiful soft guitar parts and guitar solos are popping up like a pleasant summer breeze. `Cauterize’ is like Jackal and Hyde and confirms how incredibly talented Mark Tremonti is as a guitarist, a singer and songwriter.
